This was originally an older post from 2008. There is a newer method for doing this.
If you have added Matrix Items you need to back them up before updating. So obviously this would be done before installing on a new comouter and it means you can still access the previous software.

Make sure you make a back up of these files before Uninstalling your older version of Clasp 32!
