Backup Your Older Borland Data

If you do not want to lose your information do a manual back up your data.  This is a crucial part when updating from an older Borland Database software version to the newer SQLite.

This information can then be restored by the help of a Support Central tech.

You will not be able to restore this information yourself as some of the files have to be converted from the old database language to the new in order to use it in the new software.

*  If you have ‘Add to faculty’ files back them up                                                                                                                                                                     *  If you have added DD cocktails back them up

If you have added Prayer files back them up

These must be backed up to ‘My Documents’ or copied to a file outside of the software program

Back up your Client and examin files (If you cant find these in the Data Folder you are not on the old Borland Database software)

Also if you have any added matrix items back them up.  You may be able to do this from the Main Matrix /Treatments/Stimulate Reaction Duplicate Remedies.  If not it may require you have your older software installation disk (the one that displays the large green buttons for the installation steps).  Without the enhanced dvd it will be difficult to convert and restore them.

If you have any special matrix program it cannot be restored.  Currently we are working on a way for restoring t he Gage Matrix for the Clasp32 as this had to be re written for the SQLite software. (iNDIGO will have the new Gage Matrix automatically included)

If you have purchased and will be using the Enhanced Installation DVD it will install the new QCBackup Tool and the Update Tool icons to your desktop.  This will allow the backup your Added Matrix, Add Faculty, Prayer Files and all Client and ‘examin’ report files, as well as Anti Smoking Client information if you have that program (Automatically included with iNDIGO).  Then any future software changes and updates can automatically be installed using the Update Tool.

Make sure that before you installing the latest SQLite software …
